Rijuven has set out on a mission to transform medical device markets and revolutionize care delivery through the use of select innovations that increase outcomes, drive down costs and expand care access.

MISSION

We are dedicated innovators that are determined to solve the problems impacting world health.  We synthesize cutting edge technology, medical expertise and a superior patient experience into products that better the lives we touch and make healthcare portable. Healthcare’s future drives the quality standard to which we keep.  We are a seed of health innovation.

RIJUVEN INNOVATION

At Rijuven, we believe that innovative medical devices require a core value of design, utility and function.

Design- Our medical devices are designed to be simple to use, at any point of care. We design devices that are mobile, fit in the palm of the hand, are lightweight and elegant.

Utility- Our medical devices have to be useful to anyone, anywhere. They must be built with clinician, patient and point of care in mind. Our innovations are built to impact all of humanity, from preventive medicine to emergency situations; in healthcare facilities and homes; for medical professionals to help patients around the world in any environment.

Function- Our medical devices must function consistently and confidently well, while adding features and diagnostic values that are efficacious in result. Our devices must save medical professionals time, increase outcomes, and lower healthcare costs. The integration of leading edge technologies is required to maximize the functionality of every device we create.

A NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Before the 19th century, physicians could listen to the heart only by applying their ear directly to the chest. This primitive method had social and technical limitations and fell out of favor. With the invention of the stethoscope (from Greek stéthos - chest and skopé - examination) by Laennec in 1816, mediate auscultation became possible, introducing an exciting and practical new method of bedside examination.

Over the past 2 centuries, many illustrious physicians have contributed to the understanding of cardiac auscultation by providing an explanation for the sounds and murmurs that are heard in the normal and diseased heart.

Auscultation remains a low cost, but still sophisticated procedure that intimately connects the physician to the patient and transfers that all-important clinical power known as the laying on of the hands.

At Rijuven we believe that the stethoscope deserves our continued respect and more attention as an indispensable aid for the evaluation of patients.

Nothing better epitomizes Rijuven’s DNA and unique innovative and epic spirit than the CardioSleeve, and conveys our responsible and imaginative vision of the future of health care. Our CardioSleeve is a unique stethoscope accessory device for acquiring the acoustic and electrical footprints of the heart, with results being displayed on embedded and mobile devices, and decision support software to record and analyze acoustic heart signals. It greatly reduces health care cost due to a more accurate and timely diagnosis and provides objective; repeatable findings that are easily archived and retrieved as electronic medical record.

We continue to challenge the present. There is no finish line. There is always a new barrier to break, and even greater excellence and innovation to serve humanity at large.
